Srilekha Cherukuvada is not your average high school junior.
She's not only involved herself in a wide array of extracurriculars, but she's also a mental health advocate though her organization, Plannr Consulting.
Srilekha started the organization after she had been dealing with some of her own personal mental health issues. Her sister had also experienced mental health issues, as well. Srilekha had been toying around with the idea of starting a nonprofit like Plannr Consulting for years. At one point, she even tried to make it a business and charged people for services. However, she knew there was more to all of this.
"Mental health care needs to be more accessible to everyone," Srilekha says, "and that's when I had the idea of starting fresh with a more activist perspective...I just want to help others live a better, stress-free life."
Fast forward seven months later, Srilekha is running a growing organization that has expanded their efforts globally.
Plannr Consulting strives to educate everyone on how to stay organized and ready for anything life throws at you. Plannr Consulting also aims to educate GenZers on how to stay organized going into college and the later stages of their lives where it is vital to keep a plan.
Founded in 2019, Plannr Consulting strives to help others get their lives on track and keep it that way. Their mission is to consult with students while promoting the awareness of different mental health issues and providing a safe community where students can come to when they need help.
To date, Plannr Consulting has made thousands of impressions, and consulted with students throughout the globe, including students in Kenya, California, and New York. They've expanded nationally and internationally, and are only growing from here.
Plannr Consulting is always looking for new consultants. Working for mental health awareness and allowing students a safe environment, Plannr Consulting is starting a new blog as well, and they are looking for student submissions.
